Scare Actor - Haunted House

We are looking for a Scare Actor who will create interactive memories for our guests year-round! We are looking for outgoing, self-motivated, friendly people who enjoy sharing their haunting spirit with others!

Full and Part-time, Seasonal and Year-round positions available with opportunity for advancement.

Hours range from 11:45 AM to 6 o’clock for first shift and second shift is from 5 PM to 12 or 1 AM, open 7 days a week.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide an entertaining and enjoyable show for all customers
• Perform in a Haunted House in full make-up and costume.
• Provide a unique guest experience through scare acting.
• Perform individually or in a group setting.
• Able to work nights and weekends.
• Must adhere to Nightmare Haunted House’s policies and strive to maintain a safe environment.
• Take direction from Lead Actors and Management on expectations or changes that are to be made.
• Work with coworkers to help each other ensure safety and high show quality.

Qualifications:

• Must be willing to play multiple roles
• Must be able to perform for long periods of time while walking, crouching, and crawling
• Must be able to perform in strobe lighting, fog, and other special effects
• Must be able to wear masks and make-up
• Able to be on feet for up to 8 hours at a time
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Handle physical and mental stress in busy environments

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
