TRC is seeking a highly skilled Database & Display Engineer for a project in the gas utility domain.
The SCADA Database & Display Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of the SCADA system.
- SCADA Database & Display development for the implementation of an AVEVA Enterprise SCADA 2021 (formerly OASyS) system, establishing methodology, test scenarios, etc.
- Work with the SCADA vendor on the Database & Displays, quality verification and remediation, etc.
- Acting as a champion to foster a positive project work environment; and successfully lead the database track to accomplish all the project objectives
- Maintain practices and procedures that support enterprise service management, governance, and regulatory processes
- Collaborate with various departments including Control Center Operations, SCADA, and IT
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience related to SCADA, software development, and operational support of real-time control systems
- Experience with SCADA system databases
- Experienced in the implementation and maintenance of large-scale SCADA systems running on a major vendor platform
- Familiar with AVEVA Enterprise SCADA 2021 DB and Display management and maintenance processes
- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple priorities and competing demands with tight timelines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to clearly present information to various audiences in both formal and informal settings
- Strong customer service focus with the proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and internal and external stakeholders which includes excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to deploy a structured approach to problem solving and work practices
- Familiarity with systems development methodologies, requirements analysis, system design and testing methods
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Ability to travel up to 20% in North America
In accordance with local law, the following compensation range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition: $89,913.32 - $147,097.60 Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
