Tyto is searching for a Network Technical / DT Support Level IIIfor a complex, multi-year contract to support the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Information Technology (IT) Services. This is a SCA position.
Responsibilities:
- Provides support to end-users for PC, server, mainframe applications, and hardware.
- Performs configurations, installations, diagnostics, upgrades, repairs and preventive maintenance of personal computer products and peripherals
- May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem.
- Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
- Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems.
- Maintains currency and highest level of technical skill in field of expertise.
Requirements:
- 3 or more years of relevant experience. (Network Technician Support, Technical Desktop Support, etc., or other customer service role providing IT and Network Support).
- Experience managing network modernization work or system projects of similar scope and complexity.
- Experienced in performing the following:
- Troubleshooting Windows 10 operating systems.
- Interacting with customers to communicate solutions, ticket status and updates.
- Diagnosing and resolving basic computer and network issues.
- File share permission best practices.
- Experienced in troubleshooting Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with and troubleshooting unified communication tools such as Microsoft Teams.
- Capabilities needed to deliver in-person and remote IT aid.
- Skilled in providing installation, diagnostic, upgrade, and restoration abilities.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and time management skills.
- Routing and Switching
- Cisco Certification highly desired
- Aptitude to learn and grow
- Ability to work on-site at March AFRB
Security Clearance Required:
- Active DoD "Secret" clearance
Travel Required:
- Minimal, less than 10%
