The SAP Network Success Executive (NSE) is a client-facing role, responsible for establishing the strategy with new and existing Network customers within a specific industry cluster (High Tech). The NSE’s mission is to secure customer adoption of the SAP Business Network both in transactional revenue and network transacting growth, providing positive impacts to renewals, and driving upsell. Leveraging Network Adoption Solution Advisors execute relationships with customer decision makers NSE is to establish a set of proactive strategic plays that promote overall customer satisfaction and product adoption focused on obtaining their business objectives. An NSE ensures the customer realizes the full value of their SAP Business Network solution, and ultimately their business transformation journey. This role will be structured by customer industry to provide cross customer collaboration to provide repeatable engagement and one to many adoption sessions within the customer portfolio.  

 

 Industry Cluster and individual customer expectations

  • Responsible for SAP Network Adoption / Revenue Retention & Growth, globally
  • Own /create/ facilitate industry forums providing best practice, associated trends, commonality's etc.
  • Industry specialization is expected to make informed analysis of the existing conditions with respect to the industry sectors currently operating within the customers industry cluster.
  • Identify new markets and opportunities, enhance skills, and establish working groups aimed towards improving the success of the industry cluster.
  • Identification of constraints facing the establishment/growth of the relevant industry, and work with the stakeholders to remove these constraints within the cluster.
  • Develop compelling communication strategies and materials that effectively articulate the value proposition of our products or services within the industry cluster.
  • Leverage and review benchmark success metrics to influence industry cluster for network adoption, peer vs peer indicators of success.
  • Serve as the thought leader for how to build industry network connections between buyer & trading partner communities.
  • Patriciate in Sales cycles ensuring customer understands full Network value /solution set & applying to the customers business case.
  • Providing tailored guidance to cluster on how best to deploy their Network investment to successfully align their strategy with their business objectives.
  • Participation in sales cycle to ensure top strategic customers are provided network strategy focused on customer business goals.
  • Participation in the sales hand-off for all migrations to S4 and new network nodes to ensure network strategy is achievable.
  • Development of customer success plan agreeing on success metrics, and promoting customer leading practices regarding cadence, objectives, and partnership.
  • Strengthen and support relationships with strategic customers by understanding their perspective, industry, and business needs. 
  • Agreeing on a customer network roadmap to improve product adoption and maximizing the perceived value of the customer’s subscription.
  • Understanding the customer’s business model and priorities to identify potential risks associated with network adoption.
  • Support high customer engagement with customer decision makers that result in network platform adoption, supporting contract renewals, and revenue expansion.
  • Introduce new (and unused) platform innovations and articulate value to motivate customers to deploy and adopt to maximize platform effectiveness, stickiness, and value realization with industry focused goals.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 184,000 - 390200 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
