Job DescriptionWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As the SAP Manufacturing Functional Lead, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and enhancing our manufacturing operations by effectively utilizing SAP modules. You will serve as the subject matter expert in various SAP modules, including MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), IM (Inventory Management), and EWM (Extended Warehouse Management). Your primary responsibility will be to architect and provide strategic direction for the seamless integration and functioning of these modules to support our manufacturing processes, with a particular focus on Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and Configure-to-Order (CTO) concepts.
DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Solution Architecture: Develop and articulate comprehensive SAP solutions to enhance manufacturing processes, with a deep understanding of ETO and CTO concepts, ensuring alignment with business goals and requirements.
- Module Expertise: Leverage your extensive expertise (minimum 7 years) in at least one of the following modules: MM, PP, or EWM to guide and lead the design, configuration, customization, and implementation of these modules across the factory.
- Integration Management: Ensure effective integration of SAP modules across manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities for automation, streamlined workflows, and data accuracy.
- Problem Solving: Act as a strategic thinker and problem solver, addressing complex operational issues across various modules, analyzing root causes, and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT staff, end users, and senior management, to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations by staying abreast of SAP advancements, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Change Management: Lead change management efforts related to SAP implementations and upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions and supporting end users.
- Training and Education: Educate and mentor team members, business users, and stakeholders on SAP capabilities, workflows, and best practices.
- Project Leadership: Assume a leadership role in managing projects focusing on module enhancements, process optimization, and integration across the factory.
Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred in a relevant field.
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in SAP modules, specifically MM, PP, or EWM, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and concepts such as ETO and CTO.
- Proven experience in solution architecture, demonstrating the ability to design end-to-end solutions that drive operational efficiencies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to address complex challenges across multiple SAP modules.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from end users to senior management.
- Prior experience in project management, change management, and leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives and staying current with SAP trends and technologies.

This role is an essential part of our manufacturing operations, requiring a seasoned SAP professional with in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, SAP modules, and the ability to drive strategic solutions for operational excellence. The primary location for this role will be in Stone Mountain, GA, with the expectation of occasional travel to our secondary facility located in Tifton, GA.

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $120,000 - $145,000 and will be based on the candidate's qualification, experience, and education.
