Sap Functional Consultant - 6-9 Month Contract

About the Job:
The goal of the SAP Functional Consultant is to provide support for the NDT-Global Finance and Supply chain operations in their implementation of their SAP S/4 Hana system.
This is a hybrid contract role lasting 6 to 9 months at our Houston, TX location. Immediate availability is required.
What you will Do:

• Analyze and optimize business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices within the SAP FICO & SCM modules.
• Collaborates closely with all business functions to determine their ERP-related needs and support in relation to the system.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and other business units, to understand their requirements and deliver SAP solutions that align with organizational goals.
• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data within the SAP system, troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Support the data migration efforts from legacy to new SAP S/4 SAP system.
• Work with Panaya [test] system and BPO/ BA to create detailed test cases, test scripts, and scenarios aligned with business processes and requirements & support the business execution of test cases and scenarios.
• Provide training and support to end-users on SAP functionality, ensuring effective utilization of the system.
• Assistance with role allocation and set up of roles for new and existing employees.
• Review, develop and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in evaluating and optimizing processes, striving to deliver process automation, efficiencies, and improved accuracy.

• A bachelor's degree in computer science/Engineering, finance/accounting or related education is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an SAP Consultant role within a multinational environment is required with experience in global SAP Implementations
• Strong understanding of financial & supply chain integrations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook)

• SAP Certification in Finance or Supply chain operations is preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of a BI-system or other similar Reporting Tools
