SAP Business Systems Analyst
The Business Systems Analyst is an experienced with at least 3-5 years of experience, including at least one full life-cycle implementation delivering on complex processes with minor guidance across the Software Development Lifecycle including requirements gathering and analysis, business process documentation, system design and configuration, testing, implementation, and support (all with minimal supervision).
Strong technical and functional skills are demonstrated within the portfolio which the Senior Business Systems Analyst is aligned to.
Expanding knowledge through more complex projects (or in related areas) will foster trust and position this person for career growth into an expert role (Senior Business Systems Analyst).
Effective communication skills and professionalism will be evident as items requiring assistance will be communicated by the Senior Business Systems Analyst early and in a clear, concise manner with appropriate recommendation(s).
Additional job responsibilities include:

• Works within an agile framework to deliver business value in a dynamic business environment.
• Demand Pipeline Management: Partner with IT team members and Business Process Experts to align priorities on incidents and requests with strategic needs
• Transforms business requirements into technical documentation including detailed design specifications
• Works with infrastructure/basis, developers, and business teams to design and implement technical solutions to prioritize business needs
• Delivers more complex initiatives with minimal guidance
• Maps current processes to the desired state and identifies gaps while addressing input/output requirements, data conversion strategies, and system / process controls
• Provides end-user training for new or changed system functionality
• Develops and maintains system and business process documentation
• Production Support, Projects and other Analysis Items as assigned

IT Policies and Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure solutions comply with IT policies, procedures, and regulatory controls, including SOX, general IT controls related to auditing, monitoring, approvals, and validation consistent with U.S.
• Adheres to relevant regulations, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments

Education and Work Experience preferred for this position

• SAP S/4 HANA SD, SAP C/X or SAP Analytic Cloud experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
• Required Experience 3 years applicable Functional, IT BSA, and Software Development Lifecycle experience (agile) experience or High School Diploma with 6+ years; applicable experience.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence, Reporting, and related tools
• Advanced understanding of the core principles of lean/agile/six sigma
• Ability to work with business users to identify, organize, and prioritize business needs
• Advanced ability to clearly communicate business needs to development teams in an organized and timely manner using the principles of lean and agile software development
• Ability to design functional solutions across multiple systems on differing technology stacks
• Ability to stay focused on delivering business value in an environment with dynamic needs
• Ability to communicate complex functional design ideas verbally, in writing, and via design mock-ups
• Ability to aide more junior team members in a professional manner.
• Understanding of software quality assurance principles and activities
• Strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Able to multi-task, prioritize, and complete work in a timely manner.
