Responsibilities and Duties
As a Porter at LSG Sky Chefs, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness standards of our facility, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for the production of up to 10,000 high quality meals per day. Your duties will include cleaning and sanitizing various areas of the facility, including restrooms and the employee cafeteria, and production areas, all while adhering to Safe Food Handling practices.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Availability to work any shift, including early mornings, late nights, overnights, and weekends.
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, and reach above shoulders.
- Capability to lift and push up to 75 lbs.
- Knowledge of working safely with cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure and time constraints.
- Ability to effectively communicate.
- Ability to work in both hot and cold environments.
The ideal Porter candidate must be able to:
- Work overtime when required.
- Pass a criminal background and drug screen.
- Wear personal protective equipment as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.72 per hour
