Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the warehouse floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Conduct routine sanitization of production equipment using specialized equipment and chemicals.
- Efficient waste management, separating recyclables and organic material.
- Operate and maintain cardboard balers and garbage receptacles.
- Clean and upkeep restrooms and break areas.
- Handle sanitizing chemicals safely and effectively.
- Report any equipment malfunctions to management.
- Adhere to safety, health, and quality standards, including OSHA, USDA or FDA guidelines, and internal procedures.
What We're Looking For:
- Age 18 or older.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions, read labels and safety warnings.
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work autonomously.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to reach, stoop, bend, and move around during the shift.
- Push/pull and empty carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Continuous standing or walking throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in temperatures between 35-40F.
Preferred Background:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is a plus.
- Six months of sanitation experience in a food production setting is preferred.
