Salary- Serve in assigned department area as determined through application and interview process in consideration of skills, experience, and goals.
- Exemplify a servant’s heart in all work according to assigned department area job description and seek to cultivate the heart of a servant in self and others.
- Participate in weekly leadership seminars.
- Practice servant leadership that will inspire people to follow in pursuit of the mission.
- Acquire through training and practice customer service skills of direct and friendly eye contact and facial expressions along with verbal skills of greeting guests and responding to questions.
- Deliver excellent customer service to make our diverse guests, staff, and volunteers feel comfortable and honored as they are served.
- Anticipate guest needs.
- Identify solutions to guest problems.
- Leverage skills of self and team to go above and beyond.
- Assist in planning, preparing, and serving of volunteer appreciation dinners and events.
- Exemplify humility in customer and co-worker interactions through verbal skills, facial expressions, and physical posturing.
- Consider the guest and co-worker perspective to put the needs of others in front of self.
- Lead with grace, professionalism, warmth, and the highest level of personal integrity to inspire confidence, respect, and trust.
- Use skills and experience to simplify processes, procedures, systems, practices to best steward GLCC resources, work time, and time with our guests.
- Participate in weekly and daily discipleship groups and activities to grow in your walk with Christ.
- Be a follower of Jesus Christ, practicing Christian disciplines of Bible study, prayer, service, worship, and fellowship as well as displaying evident fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control).
- A person of prayer willing to regularly pray for the mission and people of GLCC.
- Pursue a deep understanding of GLCC’s mission and the passion to move that forward.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
