Title: Salon Coordinator

Shift: Weekdays & Weeknights (Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays) & Saturdays
Hourly Pay Scale
Reports Directly to the Salon Owner.
This is an in-person, on location position.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily salon operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met throughout the salon
- Manage and supervise salon staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints
- Maintain inventory of salon products and supplies, and place orders as needed
- Handle point-of-sale system operations, including processing payments and providing change as needed
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
- Proficient in computer technologies, email marketing and social media
- Stay updated on industry trends and recommend improvements to enhance the salon experience
Experience: -
- Proven experience in store management or a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Positive and outgoing attitude
- Works well with others and as a team
- Ability to be flexible and available when needed
- Possesses loyalty traits and brand loyalty
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in point-of-sale system operations and basic math calculations
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and effective communication techniques
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
