Sales/Purchasing Assistant Needed!

Essential Job Functions:

• Compose customer quotations
• Fill out customer requested documents upon approval of department manager
• Obtain and compare supplier quotes and negotiate the costs
• Request and negotiate with suppliers for Annual Cost Reduction Activities
• Research potential new suppliers
• Coordinate ordering/receiving trial parts
• Prepare Engineering Change Notification (ECI) and Engineering Change Request (ECR)
• All other duties assigned by management

Education:

• REQUIRED: Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Industrial Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• PREFERRED: Bachelor’s degree in related field

Qualifications:

• REQUIRED: Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, excellent oral and written communication skills and computer literate
• PREFERRED: Stamping environment experience and fluent in Japanese and English
