Select Computing Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Engineering Analyst to join our team in support of our Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veteran Enterprise Module & System Integration Services (VEMSIS) contract. 

In this position you will be part of a team responsible for:  

• Delivering lower complexity, modular Low Code-No Code solutions that will enable reusable service-focused software component architectures including PaaS functions/capabilities, SaaS integrations, APIs, and Digital modernization and emerging technology support.  

• Implementing solutions using platforms such as Salesforce/Mulesoft, Pega, MS Dynamics and PowerApps Suite (including PowerBI), and Box.  

• In service under VA’s Digital Transformation Center (DTC), delivering capabilities in the areas of: Case Management Modernization, Data Ops, Applied AI, and Rapid Prototyping. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   

• Lead the engineering analysis effort by interacting with internal teams & customer stakeholders to gain understanding of requirements / processes for new developments/ enhancements. 

• Develop new methods and capabilities to support analysis, design, and interoperability of VEMSIS applications. 

• Works closely with product design, development, and test engineers to understand and document requirements of engineering analysis, data, and test reports. 

• Identify strategies for addressing requirements, risks, and issues. 

• Conduct trade-off analysis of requirements against fiscal, schedule, and performance issues.   

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: 

• Minimum of Ten (10) years’ experience as an Engineering or Systems Analyst. 

• Ability to translate business requirements and technical design into operational requirements through collaboration with architects and system design analysts. 

• Experience providing analysis support for product development, DevOps, CI/CD delivery, large enterprise architecture, and reengineering. 

• Familiar with User Centered Design (UCD) principles and the application of UCD throughout the product life cycle, from research to design to configuration, deployment, and operations. 

• The ability to coordinate internal and external discussions in the analysis of system or product architecture, design, coding, and performance.  

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED: 

• Prior VA or Federal Agency experience preferred. 

• Current VA clearance highly desired.

• Prior experience with VA Digital Transformation Center (DTC), VA Enterprise Case Management Solutions (VECMS), or VA Product and Technology Ecosystem Management Service (PTEMS) is a plus. 

EDUCATION: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required. 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education. 

CLEARANCE:   

• Must be a US Citizen. 

• Active VA Clearance preferred.
