You'll be joining a team that consists of a Salesforce Developer and Admin and you'll be part of a larger development team responsible for a customer portal, internal systems, and service providers.
JOB SUMMARY:
As Lead Salesforce Administrator, you'll play a vital role at RapidScale. We seek a proactive individual who can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gather requirements and feedback, design scalable best practice solutions, and manage the product roadmap. Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us; therefore, the Senior Systems Engineer - Salesforce should enjoy all aspects of user management, including support tickets, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction a priority.
We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform who can understand our current setup and business objectives to identify improvement areas quickly. The Senior Systems Engineer - Salesforce should be comfortable with change management and governance and communicate, prioritize, and manage all aspects of a Salesforce project. The ideal candidate will be happy liaising with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to translate technical information into layman's terms, clearly explaining design options and their potential impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• This is a varied business-facing role with the following responsibilities:
• All aspects of user and license management, including roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules
• Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports
• Understanding of basic triggers/Apex code knowledge
• Sandbox environment management
• DevOps/release management experience
• Identify and gather requirements, translating them into best practice, scalable solutions focusing on exceptional user experience.
• Identify unused or underutilized platform features.
• Collaborate on a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders.
• Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders.
• Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed.
• Proactive system maintenance, including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
• User support tickets
• Monitor and improve user adoption.
• New user and ongoing user training
• Technical documentation
• Ensure success and acceptance criteria are defined for each story,
• Describe and illustrate designs with appropriate justifications
• Ensure documentation of the steps for testing,
• Collaborate with colleagues and customers to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of eliciting and defining requirements.
• Management of integrated applications and third-party suppliers, including DocuSign, Zuora, TalkDesk, Pardot, D&B Hoovers, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND
REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field
• Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 5+ years' of Salesforce Administration hands-on experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
• Certified Salesforce Administrator
• Additional Salesforce certifications e.g., Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder
DESIRABLE:
• Bachelor's/Postgraduate degree or professional qualification

• A strategic approach to solution design, with proven ability to develop and execute tactical plans to support the strategy
• Understanding of basic triggers/Apex code knowledge

Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $105,700.00 - $176,100.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the Company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness for their own wellness or that of family members.
