America's #1 Arch Support Company is growing, and we are looking for the best! We are currently seeking an Expert Business Systems Engineer to be instrumental in the strategy, implementation, and ongoing use of Boomi and Salesforce across multiple locations.
To ensure success as a Salesforce developer, you should have extensive experience working with Salesforce CRM, application development skills, and the ability to solve complex software problems. A significant part of the job involves development and improvement of our processes around 2 core applications:
- Salesforce - Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud
- Boomi Atmosphere platform - which includes integrations with our core business applications and Salesforce.com
As a Salesforce/Boomi developer, you will be responsible for developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. You will also analyze project objectives, create workflows, and troubleshoot errors.
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with Salesforce Product Owners, Business Users, Training & Development, and other internal & external teams to gather and understand data and project requirements.
- Work independently on multiple projects, taking ownership to ensure successful planning, execution, analysis, and communication.
Salesforce
- Develop high quality solutions within the Salesforce platform
- Work with cross functional team members in identifying, evaluating, and developing solutions that meet user requirements by utilizing the SFDC toolkit
- Participates in the Define, Design, Develop and Deploy stages of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Develop and maintaining API services within Salesforce
- Development and unit testing for the Salesforce Sales cloud environment and interfaces with other integrated applications
- Knowledge in implementing solutions using configurations (no-code) such as Flows, process builders, workflow Rules. Etc.
- Analyze business and technical requirements, specifications, and process maps
- Ensure high quality software implementation following professional and Salesforce.com best practices, develop code and conduct code review in accordance with them
- Document and maintain specifications, releases, test plans and other necessary technical documentations
- Maintain the security and integrity of the application software.
- Stay current on Force.com technology changes and Salesforce releases
Boomi
- Hands on design, development, deployment, and maintenance of integration processes between various cloud applications and Sales Cloud, using Boomi or similar tools(Mulesoft, Workato, Zapier, etc).
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Boomi platform in alignment with the business' overall enterprise architecture, best practices, and information security policies
- Develop and support Boomi Flow applications
Job Specifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years relevant work experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud
- 3+ years relevant work experience in Boomi or similar tools (Mulesoft, Workato, Zapier, etc) or experience integrating other systems (in and outbound) with the SFDC API.
- Previous experience customizing and extending the experience and capabilities within the Salesforce platform
- Experience with LWC, Visual Force, Asynchronous APEX, CDC and Platform Events
- Experience working in Agile development teams, and agile lifecycle management tools, preferably Jira
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - this role is heavily collaborative and often engages with stakeholders to gather and groom requirements.
- Knowledge and experience of APIs, webhooks, and general data transfer approaches required.
