The Assistant Regional Manager - Training and Development supports assigned regions within a division, providing job specific guidance and support to new sales advisors in achieving and exceeding their performance objectives within their first six months on the job. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales and mentoring skills and will utilize their knowledge to develop successful working habits that will drive sales results. This role provides a potential growth path to the Regional Manager role and will report to the Director of New Sales Advisor Performance.

Responsibilities

  • Support new hire advisors as they transition from the initial onboarding training to being in their role helping families
  • Provide expertise and coaching on topics including but not limited to:
    • Consultative selling
    • Pipeline Management
    • Initial consultation best practices
    • Objection handling and tour scheduling
    • Tasking and follow up to advance the sale
    • Five9 - Telephony skills
    • Time management skills
    • Collaboration with community customers to advance the sale
    • Deliver daily 1:1s and call coaching to individual advisors
  • Prepare and report new hire performance to management
  • Identify new advisor skills gaps and create strategies to address through new hire development plans
  • Stay current with policies and procedures by attending ongoing training meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • 3+ years as a Senior Living Advisor with A Place for Mom, with a track record of exceeding quota and KPI expectations, OR 3+ years' experience successfully leading an inside Sales Team to exceed quota
  • Passionate about data and metrics to identify winning behaviors and drive success
  • Demonstrated ability to teach individuals and/or groups, as well as measure training outcomes and effectiveness.
  • Successful track record of developing new hires preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with regional management to develop training strategy and deliver results
  • Exhibits attention to detail, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Track record of strong collaboration with other departments or business functions, with focus on achieving shared goals
  • Ability to manage multiple demands and deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain composure in a stressful and fast paced environment
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Google (Drive and Sites) product suites

Compensation:

  • Base Salary - $80,000
  • On Target Earnings: $115,000 + (Uncapped)
