Job Overview
The Sales Support Specialist assists other departments to achieve company-wide goals through project facilitation and support of the sales teams.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Train new hires on member reward programs
- Train employees on new programs and processes
- Meets work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements/enhancements.
- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Completes daily, weekly and monthly reporting & analysis for existing project initiatives.
- Manages company contests and carrier sponsored sales awards, designed to increase organizational productivity.
- Conducts research and communicates in a manner that pertains to any given audience (ownership, executive leadership, managers, and front-line employees)
- Processes project requests from internal departments and external groups such as insurance carriers, credit unions, and other partners,
- Assists/completes new projects or enhancements which facilitate accomplishment of company objectives.
- Cultivates relationships with staff of all levels, carriers, and credit union partners,
- Completes or assists with other projects as needed within the department and inter-departmentally
Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Outlook
- Results driven
- Computer & Internet Savvy, able to learn new technology, programs and processes
- Able to analyze information and create recommendations from data
- Experience working in a fast-paced team environment, able to work on multiple assignments concurrently
- Organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously/independently & to think outside the box
- Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to interface with colleagues at all levels
- Proactive, having initiative
- Experience with Sales Organizations, the Financial Industry, Credit Unions and/or Insurance preferred
- Ability to meet deadlines.

- Monday – Friday 9:00 – 5:00
- Monday, Wednesday and a third day in office, the rest of the week is work from home!
- This position is hybrid and will require the employee to be within commutable distance to our Corporate Headquarters (Orange, CT)
