Job Description
As a Sales Support Representative, you will play a vital role in providing administrative and operational assistance to our sales team. Your primary responsibility is to ensure smooth and efficient sales operations, enabling our sales representatives to focus on generating revenue and delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal sales team members, assisting with inquiries, requests, and administrative tasks as needed.
- Process sales orders, contracts, and documentation accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with various departments, including logistics, finance, and customer service, to facilitate timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Assist sales representatives with customer inquiries, service information requests, and order status updates, providing exceptional service and support throughout the sales process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and account information in the CRM/case management system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements, streamline workflows, and enhance overall sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay informed about service updates, pricing changes, and promotional offers to provide accurate information and support to sales team members and customers.
- Provide training and support to new sales team members, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to succeed in their roles.
Skills/Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a Sales Support, customer service, or administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and error-free documentation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing outstanding service and support to both internal and external customers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
