Job Description
The Sales Support Coordinator will be responsible for daily customer external and internal interactions, providing support to the Sales Team with all aspects of sales and service functions. The end goal is to build trust amongst teammates, smiles from our guests and love from the communities we serve.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for sales team.
- Build trust and earn smiles with customers through accurate, timely communication of order updates, payment parameters and other reminders.
- Exhibit a warm and inviting demeanor while maintaining professionalism with all written and verbal communication.
- Serve as liaison with Sales Team and Restaurant operations, submitting all necessary documentation and verbal communication per standard operating procedures
- Generate and communicate sales orders, schedules, reports and scorecards.
- Maintain and update various documentation, contact lists, sales materials, invoices/orders and internal communications platform
- Maintain customer database with up-to-date and accurate contact information
- Maintain price lists/menus within Caterease to ensure all sales opportunities are quoted/billed correctly
- Respond to catering, fundraising and other guest inquiries and requests while providing resolution in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
- Assist sales team in generating and completing customer sales related orders and follow customer orders from start to finish. This includes, communication with the Sales Team, Restaurant Team and customer; scheduling the calendar invites, making sure all documentation is accurate, completed and submitted in a timely fashion; communicating credit card payment links with the customer to obtain timely payment, submitting all documentation to corporate/accounting for invoicing and/or fundraising donation payments and post follow up with the customer.
- Research and create lists of potential new prospects/customers/leads
- Assist in gaining new and existing customers through outreach via phone and email communication
- Export previous month and year customers for Sales team to perform outreach
- Close out Fundraising and other Sale orders, create excel spreadsheet with customer orders by day and communicate details with specific restaurant
- Assist in all duties responsible for successful Dock Sale events
- Run sales reports as necessary
- Input and revise catering, school lunch and fundraising orders in Caterease system to produce a customer invoice
- Process donation/sponsorship requests, acquiring tax exempt identification numbers, and inputting data and documentation into Salesforce.
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
- 2+ years administrative or work-related experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe
- Ability to write, speak and interact clearly and professionally.
- Extremely organized. Strong time-management skills. Strong technical skills
- Prior experience with CRM and POS systems or equivalent, preferred but not required.
- Occasional weekend or evening hours may be required
