### Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales and building strong relationships with clients. ### Responsibilities:
- Conduct outside sales activities to generate leads and acquire new customers
- Utilize CRM software to track and manage customer interactions
- Develop and implement effective strategies for business development and sales growth
- Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify new opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage key accounts and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus
- Fully supports Company goals of continuous improvement and operational excellence, and sustainability at strategic and tactical levels including reviewing area of responsibility for improvement opportunities to initiate projects or communicate ideas to management as well as active participation on project teams.
### Skills:
- Minimum of 3 plus years’ experience in technical sales/marketing/applied preferably in the PVC additives.
- Thermal Stabilizers (Lead, Ca/ZN, Tin based), Process aids, Acyrlic Impact Modifiers, Lubricants,Metalic Salts, Metalic Soaps, Plasticizers ( DOP, DOA, DOTP, DINP, TOTM), TitaniumDiOxide,Chlornated polyethlene(CPE), TGIC, PE wax, Zeolit 4a and Pigment products knowledge is highly desired.
AND/OR
- Minimum of 3 plus years’ experience in technical sales/marketing/applied technology for polymer emulsions and synthetic thickeners preferably in the Paint & Coatings, Pressure sensitive adhesives for BOPP tapes & labels, Construction chemicals, Textile Industry, Paper and carpet industries.
-Decorative paint, Wood-Metal coating, Adhesive additive market and product knowledge is highly desired.
AND/OR
-Minimum of 3 plus years’ experience in technical sales/marketing/applied technology for color solutions, preferably in the Plastics and Specialties industries.
- Color pigments, Paste Pigments, Color Masterbatches, Engineering Pigment market and product knowledge is highly desired.
-Strong understanding of product line characteristics and applications in these specialized markets.
- Strong financial acumen. Proficient in MS Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Salesforce CRM.
- Physical requirements for a standard office environment as well as travel.
- Experience in budgeting, capital expenditures, and standard costing.
- Strong managerial skills with the ability to adjust the management style according to the situation.
- Proven experience in technology sales or a related field
- Strong business development skills with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Exceptional customer service abilities
- Proficient in using Salesforce or similar CRM software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
