Ny Jewelry Shop in Raleigh, NC is looking for one Sales Specialist to join our 6 person strong team. We are located on 5959 Triangle Town Blvd. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service is paramount in a jewelry store. You'll need to greet customers, assist them in finding the right piece of jewelry, answer their questions, and ensure their overall satisfaction.
- Product Knowledge: You should have a deep understanding of the jewelry products you are selling, including knowledge of different metals (gold, silver, platinum), gemstones, and jewelry styles. Customers often have specific questions, and your expertise will help them make informed choices.
- Sales and Inventory Management: Depending on your role, you may be responsible for sales transactions, tracking inventory, restocking items, and keeping the store organized.
- Security: Security is a significant concern in jewelry stores due to the high value of the merchandise. You may be responsible for following security protocols, monitoring the store, and ensuring the safety of both customers and merchandise.
- Appraisals and Repairs: Some jewelry stores offer appraisal services and jewelry repair. If this is part of your store's offerings, you may need to assess the value of jewelry items or perform minor repairs.
- Visual Merchandising: Keeping the store's displays attractive and enticing is essential for attracting customers. This involves arranging and showcasing jewelry in an appealing manner.
- Sales Targets: In many cases, you'll have sales targets to meet, so you should be comfortable with sales strategies and techniques.
- Marketing and Promotion: Depending on your position, you may be involved in promoting the store through various marketing efforts, both in-store and online.
- Administration: Handling administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, order management, and other paperwork may be part of your responsibilities.
Qualifications

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Sundays. Compensation is $10.00 - $11.00/hour.
