We are a family owned business with deep NY roots and market representation seeking a motivated, self starting, results driven and team oriented individual for a route sales/business development position in Manhattan.
Our high end, growing portfolio appeals to retailers providing ample opportunity to open new business and increase market share in existing accounts.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain a consistent and in person call frequency to all accounts
- Maximize sales and open new business
- Conduct route sales procedures such as collecting payments, introducing new products and improving shelf space
- Provide courteous sales related customer service
- Analyze selling trends to prepare a fact based presentation to key decision makers
- Maintaining communication with management to identify opportunities and market issues
Position Requirements:
- Capacity to bend and lift product
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Sales experience preferred
- Strong time management and problem solving skills
- Bilingual is a plus but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
