Summary:
The Sales Representative – South West Area will develop, maintain, and expand sales and Specialty Pharmacy Services brand recognition in a designated territory assignment managing specifics therapeutic areas prioritized by SPS Specialty Pharmacy Services. They deliver balanced sales presentations to a defined list of current and prospective customers with a defined frequency. In the assigned territory, the Sales Representative – South West Area will utilize all marketing and selling materials designed for the respective audience. They engage in effective business planning, calling on customers who may include, but are not limited to, physicians, nurses, healthcare providers, and hospitals/clinics. This role has the primary responsibility of adding new customers to SPS Specialty Pharmacy Services by establishing contact with potential new customers. Remain current with market knowledge of the Specialty Pharmacy business and the assigned Therapeutic Areas and specialists. The Sales Representative – South West Area will function independently with a high degree of territory and business development proficiency to drive sales performance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with key HCP Specialists.
- Achieve all sales performance goals and objectives for geographical assignment or territory.
- Develop comprehensive and accurate sales presentations using all approved marketing and selling materials.
- Leverage the specialty pharmacy business expertise and knowledge to anticipate and effectively manage business opportunities within the assigned territory and therapeutic class.
- Maintain proficient knowledge of the disease state and key promoted products within segment.
- Deliver proficient sales presentations to a defined list of current and prospective customers with a frequency based on assigned call goals.
- Complete pre and post call analysis which positively impacts customer interactions.
- Regularly review and analyze all available sales data.
- Adhere to all compliance policies and guidelines.
- Develop a daily call schedule to ensure efficient and comprehensive coverage of territory.
- Complete administrative reports and meet related deadlines.
- Develop an effective territory routing plan to identify potential to optimize call plan attainment.
- Attending industry trade shows and conferences to identify potential customer leads and to build productive contact with existing customers.
- Develop and serve as main liaison for Pharma Relations in designated territory.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years’ experience in Specialty Pharmacy or relevant experience.
- Attention to detail; organizational skills; interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and across different teams.
- Able to give and receive feedback and constructive criticism from a variety of channels.
- Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s (Minimum).
