As an Acme Smoked Fish Sales Representative, you will be responsible for pursuing and acquiring new accounts, servicing and fostering existing accounts and providing customer service to all parties within the Midwest region, as defined by Acme. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, will have food sales experience with a proven track record working with, but not exclusive to, food service distributors, independent retail stores, small regional multi store food chains and more.
What You Will Do At Acme:
- Responsible for the acquisition of new customers/business and maintaining order incidence while building and fostering the relationship.
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction with after-sale follow-up.
- Responsible for driving penetration and growth of customers through consultative sales activities with targeted customers both independently and with specific Sales Managers.
- Respond to and assist with sales inquiries or concerns.
- Conduct category reviews in collaboration with customer.
- Develop and make presentations of new and existing products to clients.
- Engage consumers and clients directly at on-site campaigns to share key messages about client’s product offerings.
- Support development of marketing & sales strategies that generate sales revenue.
- Manage sales budget annually.
- Conduct sales and training meetings as needed and appropriate.
- Attend weekly sales calls supporting department initiatives and programs.
- Complete paperwork, sales reports and on-going personal training in a timely manner.
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times when communicating with business partners.
- Attend food shows, expos, etc. as needed to promote Acme and build business.
- Maintain a well-developed pipeline of potential customers.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Your Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred.
- Minimum 4 – 5 Years of previous sales experience.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
- Experience in the seafood industry a plus

Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 USD annually.
- This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
