Commercial Aquatics Sales Representative
Sales representatives are the principal point of contact between a business and its customers. They are tasked with ensuring customers have the best products and services, identify new markets and customer leads and pitch prospective customers.
Our Sales Representatives and are the face of our company! They do everything from new product presentations to monitoring the competition, to working closely with our service department and sub-contractors, all while maintaining good customer relations and pursuing new sales.

Summary
Responsible for sourcing and closing sales opportunities, increasing revenue in a specific territory by generating leads, qualifying prospects, negotiating with clients and managing projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Sales presentations and calls to a specific customer base including public works entities including school districts, parks & rec departments, community colleges, universities, hotels, swim schools, multi-family properties, HOA’s etc.
2. Evaluate existing facilities to recommend improvements in equipment operation and infrastructure
3. Procure equipment sales from existing customer base; prospect for new customers
4. Manage equipment retrofit and replacement projects, in conjunction with company’s Service Department and/or subcontractors
5. Generate technical service sales including new equipment installations, equipment renovations, energy-efficiency projects and equipment service/repair
6. Daily responsibilities include field appointments, cold calls both in person and by phone, sales call follow up, customer education, preparing and presenting equipment quotes, manufacturer lead follow up, and presentations to mid and high-level decision-makers
7. Communicate and work with company’s administrative sales and customer service staff
8. Daily travel in assigned territory within Southern California
9. Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor

Minimum Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree

Field sales experience required
2 - 3+ years of aquatic sales experience a plus
