Job Description
Independent electronic component distribution company seeking a Sales Representative to grow with our company.
This position will report directly to the sales director to create and implement strategies to grow customer leads and increase order flow. This position focuses on identifying and onboarding new clients and building business relationships for recurring orders.
Responsibilities:
- Identify new opportunities to market and promote components to customers as the distributor of choice
- Conduct diligent research for customer leads using the internet and other tool
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Develop and manages strong business to business relationships with assigned accounts by engaging with customers via the phone and or email, providing exemplary service, support, and speedy quote responses
- Support customers incoming quotes requests, delivering timely quote responses to assigned customers, and promote components services
- Proactively communicate with assigned customers to understand their needs and requirements, develop strong relationships, collaborate, and manage internal teams to drive a deal to clos
Qualifications:
- Sales experience including professional demeanor, negotiation skills, and phone etiquette
- Two (2) or more years of prior job-related in sales, account management, or a related field with a proven track record of consistent revenue growth required
- Electronics, electronic component, semiconductor Industry experience preferred
- Proven track record of CRM system usage
- Willingness to make outbound phone calls every day
- Self-motivated with attention to detail
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft (MS) Office
