Sales Representative (Estimator, D2D)
– The sales rep will be responsible for going D2D and setting up estimates, and knowing how to deliver an estimate. Reps will be trained on how to sell our service at the door. They will also be trained on how to deliver an estimate.
*We do not sell our services door to Door. We only door-knock to set up future estimates.*
The first responsibility is to set an estimate date with the customer at the door. They will explain who we are, why we are here, and how we can help. At the door, they will inform the customer they need a paint job based on certain aspects (peeling paint, bubbling paint and fading paint) to name a few. Once an estimate is set up the first step for D2D is achieved.
The second responsibility for reps is knowing how to deliver an estimate. Reps will be trained on Pell Panting techniques and painting procedures. They will know how to sell our services. As well as how to go about a particular project, the product and the brand we use, why we use a certain product, and why we go about a job a particular way. They will give the customer options for their project. Their goal is to make the customer feel cared for, and make them feel we care about their project….. and them! (which we certainly do).
In addition, any organic leads, word of mouth, and reference leads we get as phone calls, texts, and emails will be funneled to the sales rep and they will deliver that estimate. Sales reps will earn a set amount of $ for leads given to them. They will receive a 10% commission on any leads they get and secure themselves.
Sales rep will:
- Be trained on Pell D2D sales/ Daily door knocking.
- Set up estimates with customers at the door/the next day over the phone
- Report back to the sales manager
- Be trained on how to deliver painting estimates
- Deliver estimates on leads from every other source
*This position is commission-based only. How much you earn directly correlates with how well you can sell and close jobs.
Responsibilities:
- Generate leads by canvassing neighborhoods.
- Deliver persuasive sales pitches and customize proposals.
- Close deals, negotiate terms, and secure signed agreements.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
Qualifications:
- Proven door-to-door sales experience.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Results-oriented with the ability to meet sales targets.
- Knowledge of the painting industry (preferred).
