SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE The Sales Representative position is a customer service-focused position; assisting in developing, maintaining, and interacting with new and existing customers. This position will work towards developing strategies to demonstrate the quality and benefits of CFG products to achieve increased sales and profitability.

• Building and maintaining customer relationships in person, via phone, and email communications
• Develop strategies to expand and grow the sales business in designated regions
• Assists in the preparation and presentation of sales proposals, including price quotes, credit terms, and delivery commitments • Investigates and resolves customer service challenges including delivery and pricing issues
• Educates customers on products, answers questions and provides great customer service
• Accurately project and execute sales in the system
• Ensure customer offers are loaded accurately within the required timeframe
• Review customer profiles, orders, etc. identify areas of improvement of revenue dollars and gross profit margins • Help promote new sales programs for new and existing customers
• Organize and present pricing and gross profit margin reports from wholesale and mass market sales • When necessary work with outside systems such as ITrade, OneWorld Sync, SPS Commerce, and others.
Requirements:REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 5+ years of customer service or sales experience 2-3 years of field sales experience
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Working with perishables Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Preferred (not required) systems knowledge of Procurant, iTrade, 1WorldSync, OFX, and others
