We have an immediate opening for an Order Processor of construction material (Flooring, tile and plumbing) along with FFE (Furniture, lighting and accessories). In this role, you will review orders, input them into our shipment system, and process the orders to ensure the shipment is fulfilled properly and delivered on time. You will collaborate with carriers to coordinate pick-up and delivery, monitor delivery dates, keep track of inventory levels, and order more supplies when necessary. You will also communicate daily with our sales team to update them on the status of client orders.
Order Processor Duties and Responsibilities
- Review daily shipment log
- Input orders into company system
- Create shipping paperwork for outbound deliveries
- Track shipments and update master list
- Handle any issues or discrepancies with shipments
- Communicate delivery updates with sales team
- Monitor inventory and order more supplies when necessary
Order Processor Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of shipping or logistics experience (preferred)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
- Data entry experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexible schedule
