  • Responsibilities

    At eyebobs, we design original frames for original people. Growth of our Wholesale Channel is a strategic priority and the Sales Operations Lead will play a vital role in ensuring our wholesale customers and field sales representatives receive outstanding service and support. This is an in-office based role with the potential for hybrid, located at our Minneapolis headquarters. This position requires occasional travel.

    Position Summary: The Sales Operations Lead is the internal support resource for the field sales organization (independent sales reps) and our wholesale customers, providing necessary business support for this important channel to fuel growth. They will act as a critical voice of the customer and salesforce and provide continuity and connection to HQ championing improvement to business processes as well as valuable insights to manage to shape plans.

    The Sales Operations Lead will partner with the Wholesale Customer Service Associate to support our independent and national account customers and will work internally with cross functional teams (Marketing, Product, Operations) to develop programs, identify and address critical issues, facilitate information, and ensure order flow.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Subject Matter Expert for B2B Platform (NuOrder)

    Oversee all aspects of NuOrder (B2B platform) including managing the active assortment, uploading new product information in a timely manner and leveraging available data on customer usage to facilitate the sales process.

    Responsible for new account order set up process ensuring distribution standards are met before opening and all necessary requirements for opening are met.

    Primary lead for training and adoption and ongoing support of NuOrder by reps and customers.

    Field Sales Support

    Facilitate ongoing communications with independent sales reps, keeping them up to date on process changes and information needed to effectively serve their customers.

    Provide standardized reporting to field reps to assist in optimizing their business and driving results.

    Manage/oversee all aspects of the sales sample process working with Product Development to ensure samples are released to the field in a timely manner and out of collection products are removed.

    Manage trade show calendar along with corresponding budget and coordinate all necessary materials and resources required; participate as needed in events including schedule, event ROI, and pre-, during, and post- efforts/analysis.

    Work with Wholesale Team to develop exceptional in-store experience programs, including displays, pop, training.

    Work with Director of Sales to implement salesforce incentives as well as customer promos to accomplish business objectives.

    Support vacant territory coverage.

    Wholesale Customer Support

    Lead and manage all customer communications (email or mail) on company initiatives such as price increases, rep changes, quarterly promotions or other critical information.

    Fully responsible for managing all eyebobs house accounts activity.

    Manage effective in-store experience to ensure a high level of product sell-thru is achieved.

    Cross Functional Collaboration

    Partner with marketing and product development to create, enhance and deliver an appropriate GTM tool kit to support salesforce effectiveness.

    Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

    Provide valuable input into the sales planning and forecasting process.

    Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging sales technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

    Required Qualifications

    Minimum three years’ experience working in a relevant sales or Sales Operations role, with at least two years in a Sales Operations management role with supervisory responsibilities

    Excellent understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and systems

    Proven success in a sales function

    Ability to work in a highly entrepreneurial environment

    Proficiency in using sales analytics tools, CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite

    Experience with NuOrder or similar B2B platform

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    A self-starter with passion for delivering the highest customer experience

    A team player and collaborator with the ability to influence others and work across the organization to deliver results.

    Ability to travel occasionally

    Preferred Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field

    5 or more years of experience in a relevant sales or Sales Operations role
