Job Summary:
The Sales Manager/Consultant is responsible for cultivating and nurturing relationships within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry, identifying customer needs, and aligning our products and services to meet those requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with contacts with potential customers in the P&C insurance industry.
- Cultivate new and rekindle past relationships with potential customers, identifying their needs and assessing whether Signature Companies would be a good fit for their current needs.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of our products and processes to provide accurate responses to specific customer inquiries.
- Create new methods or strategies to support Signature Companies in reaching goals for revenue and profitability.
- Research the P&C industry to identify trends and opportunities for Signature Companies to enhance customer value propositions.
- Continuously generate a pipeline of leads of potential clients through various channels, including email, social media, phone calls, and industry gatherings when appropriate.
- Effectively track leads and customer progression through the sales cycle and regularly report on progress to Company leadership with clear cost-benefit analysis.
- Participate as needed in the customer onboarding process post-sales closures as a learning experience for future success.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Demonstrated track record of successful deal closures and relationship building.
- Thorough understanding of traditional and digital marketing strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Familiarity in CRM Software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Several years of experience working in a client-facing sales or similar role, ideally within the insurance industry,
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53,765.38 - $64,749.70 per year
