About the role:
As a new Sales Manager for our Mexico Cross Border sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue and providing unmatched service to our customers. You’ll become a crucial member of our leadership team driving revenue and propelling new business growth. In addition, you’ll hire, coach, and develop Mexico team members while serving as a key contact for the operations departments and our carrier base, assisting with and advising on matters involving Mexico freight.

What you'll be doing:
- Work directly with Sales Teams to identify opportunities and drive brokerage revenue for Mexico services
- Establish effective relationships across the organization to achieve all sales and operational goals
- Provide support on sales calls when needed, pertaining to cross-border shipments
- Assist in establishing and developing carrier and vendor relationships to grow our Mexico services
- Responsible for communicating updates, progress, and issues to leadership
- Travel as needed for customer/carrier meetings and industry conventions
- Assist Account Representatives with strategies to ensure sales targets are met and that a high level of customer service is delivered to all stakeholders
- Monitor sales reports, take appropriate action, and communicate trends and market conditions to the Director and Vice President
- Resolve escalated accounting/claims issues when needed
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to travel to and from Mexico
- 5+ years of sales management experience, preferably leading a team of 10+
- Must be fluent in Spanish and English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English
- Demonstrated ability to coach, lead, and motivate others
- On call, receiving calls from carriers, clients, prospects and LAE’s 24/7/365
- Ability to provide strong references to TQL – sales and sales-support
