The Hilton Miami Airport Blue Lagoon is looking for a Sales Manager to join our team.This person will be selling our beautiful 508 room hotel and 30,000 square feet of space that is just minutes away from the airport, beaches, and local attractions. Hotel Details:
We are in Blue Lagoon; four miles from Miami International Airport. Downtown Miami and Dolphin Mall are 15 minutes away. South Beach, Zoo Miami, and cruises from Port Miami are within a half-hour.
Requirements:
3+ years of hotel groups sales experience
Hotel sales contracting experience
Excellent communication skills; written and oral
Proficient with computer usage including email, Word, Excel
Strong planning, and time management skills
Assets:
Hilton experience
Delphi/FDC Experience/Salesforce
What will I be doing?
As a Sales Manager, you would be responsible for soliciting, securing, and responding to customer inquiries regarding the purchase of guestrooms, food and beverage, and use of event facilities. In the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
• Respond to sales inquiries from potential customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food and beverage services, etc.
• Methodically solicit potential clients for future business on an on-going basis.
• Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with new and established accounts.
• Determine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate, and finalize contracts
• Analyze lost business for booking opportunities
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual group sales goals.
• Conduct outside sales calls and polished presentations to local companies and organizations.
• Host and entertain clients, conduct property tours, promote facilities and services
• Communicate with potential customers in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Partner with operations departments to ensure full participation in servicing accounts
