- Participates in geographically appropriate trade shows
- Explains and justifies expenses to clients
- Evaluates each piece of business to ensure business can be properly serviced
- Executes sales plan to exceed goals
- Maintains strong awareness of hospitality trends
- Reviews guests’ feedback to ensure continual guest satisfaction
- Welcomes incoming guests with courteous and professional attitude
- Handles client requests promptly and with high level of accuracy
- Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all property amenities as well as any special events
- Interacts with staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
- Always maintains a professional demeanor and attitude
- Communicates all pertinent information to the sales team
- Maintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons). Reports all safety incidents to on-duty supervisor.
- Acts with responsibility towards all company property, supplies and equipment.
- Maintains a professional appearance. Follows Aloft dress code standards.
- Remains alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all times
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Four year degree preferred
- At least three to five years sales experience preferred
- At least one year sales experience required
- At least one year hospitality experience preferred
- At least three years customer service experience preferred
JOB REQUIRMENTS:
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must have valid Florida driver’s license, or be willing to obtain one, and meet company driving standards
- Must be able to work well under pressure
- Must be able to work with high level of accuracy
- Must be extremely detail orientated
- Must have the ability to analyze and close business
- Must have strong solicitation, account profile and qualification skills
- Must have strong knowledge of the sales process
- Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written
- Must possesses excellent communication skills

- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
