PHCPPros is a B2B multimedia company serving the professional plumbing, heating, cooling, and piping (PHCP) community. We offer a range of digital marketing and advertising products, as well as three print magazines — PHC News, Plumbing Engineer, and The Wholesaler — to connect industry brands to our targeted, engaged audiences: contractors and installers, engineers and specifiers, and wholesalers and distributors.
In 2023, we launched PROS REPS, a new rep agency specifically for influencers in the PHCP community. PROS REPS clients include highly skilled and influential professionals who showcase their profession, love of the trades, and the products they use and install to their thousands of social media followers.
Role and Responsibilities
The Sales Manager will be responsible for executing partnership deals for PROS REPS influencers and growing sales for the agency. The Sales Manager will achieve this through proactive outreach to industry manufacturers.
While this is primarily a sales role, the Sales Manager will also be responsible for helping to grow PROS REPS influencer clients through social media outreach as well.
Requirements
- Report to PROS REPS Business Development Manager and Principal
- Track all progress in Sales Genius
- Cold call manufacturers and execute sales strategies (comfort with cold calling is a must)
- Outreach to potential influencer clients through social media
- Hybrid work environment
- Must be willing to travel to make in-person sales calls and attend trade shows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated self-starter
Position and Salary
- Entry Level
- Full-time, 40-hour work week
- Based in Niles, IL
- Hybrid work environment, Chicago-area applicants preferred
- 40K base plus commission salary
