Account Executive (Tech Sales)
Location: Melville, NY
Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 + Uncapped Commission (1st year OTE - $85k - $100k) + Benefits
Benefits: Health, 401k, PTO, Sick leave, mileage reimbursement
Job Type: Full-Time
Typical Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Travel: 25% local day travel to clients

Account Executive (Tech Sales) Description
Our client in the business technology industry is looking for an Account Executive to add to their team near Melville, NY. Working closely with the IT team, you will be selling a portfolio of Office Equipment and Services ranging from Copier/ printer MFP’s, VOIP Telephony, Mailing Solutions, and Managed IT and Security Services to medium-sized businesses. You must be a sales hunter willing to work the local territory (Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan). If you have experience selling IT services or hardware and are looking to work for a privately held company that has been around for decades, you could be a great addition to the team. Account Executive (Tech Sales) Responsibilities
● Develop a pipeline of SMB prospects
● Prospect for new business
● Maintain daily prospecting activity
● Identify new business opportunities
● Qualify and close new business
● Introduce new products and services to existing clients
● Engage with existing and prospective customers
● Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
● Maintain accurate sales forecasting
● Create proposals and quotes
● Help colleagues by providing sales and technical training
Account Executive (Tech Sales) Qualifications
● 1+ years of sales experience required
● 1+ years of SaaS, Tech, Office Equipment, or Business Technology sales experience required
● Experience prospecting and hunting for new business required
