Base Salary: $120,000-$130,000 Base plus Commissions
Total Compensation: $150-$180k/yr.
Job Summary:
The Sales Engineer will meet or exceed sales goals in the assigned territory through direct selling efforts, training, and implement the sales strategy to achieve sales goals and sales & market-share objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement the sales strategy to achieve sales goals and sales & market-share objectives.
- Maintain direct contact with customer accounts in geographic area of assigned responsibility, industry trends and competitive product offerings.
- Develop a successful representative network in assigned geographic area as needed through representative selection, training, and supervision.
- Maintain company product training certifications as defined by Company.
- Coordinate and attend key industry trade shows, seminars & conferences representing company products.
- Understanding of the sales funnel and process.
Job Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering discipline is required.
- Proven outside sales experience in high voltage equipment, electric utility, and/or power generation industries, is required.
- Sales experience working with or managing manufacturer's representative firms.
- Training & Experience in safety requirements for working with high voltage apparatus.
- Experienced in software programs such as MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
- Ability to travel within assigned territories 50-60% of the time.
- Must have a valid passport and driver's licence
