The Role:
As Sales Director - North America, you will play a crucial role in our domestic and international expansion efforts. You'll be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, building strong relationships with C Suite stakeholders with the main aim to build and drive revenue growth. Your success with B2B sales, experience with SaaS and your ability to navigate complex sales processes will be key to excelling in this role. You are a hunter by nature but have the ability to cultivate relationships. This is a remote position, preferably you will be located in Central or East Coast time.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for growing new client sales
- Responsible for developing expertise in all Placewise SaaS products
- Upsell to existing clients
- Establish and nurture relationships with key clients and strategic partners
- Drive negotiations and contract discussions
- Travel to meet with prospects, clients, and attend industry events
- Conduct product presentations to all levels of the organization
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product team to refine sales messaging
- Manage CRM to ensure accurate and up-to-date data for executive team
- Understand market trends and competitive landscape
- Implement and refine sales process to drive efficiency and scalability
- Ensure accurate and timely sales forecasting and reporting
- Comply with sales policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively across Operations, Customer Success, and Tech teams
How You Qualify :
- 5+ years in a quota driven sales role
- Proven experience selling into existing book of business and generating new business
- Experience working for a SaaS or digital marketing organization
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding revenue targets
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Able to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be self-motivated and see challenges as opportunities
- Located in CST or EST
