OSIbeyond is seeking a motivated and ambitious SDR to join our business development team supporting the expansion of our in-demand Cybersecurity & Compliance services. The target customers are in the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) sector who contract with the Department of Defense (DoD). OSIbeyond's Cybersecurity Compliance offering is highly sought out by DoD contractors due to the upcoming DoD cybersecurity compliance regulation.
This role primarily involves responding to inbound sales leads generated through marketing efforts to secure a presentation meeting with the prospective customer. In addition, outbound outreach will be done in conjunction with responding to inbound leads.
The SDR will research companies and contacts, for both inbound and outbound campaigns and qualifying each opportunity. It is a dynamic role that fits high energy, collaborative and ambitious salespeople. You will be working at our Rockville, MD office.
Employment and Compensation:
Base Pay: $50,000/year
OTE: Uncapped with 1st year potential of $55,000+
Type: Fulltime
Schedule: M-F, 40 hours a week, regular business hours (Work from Home Fridays)
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Respond to inbound leads.
- Reach out to prospects.
- Prospecting qualified leads through calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Gather intelligence about the accounts you are assigned and notate in the CRM.
- Schedule qualified appointments and handoff call to the sales team.
- Understand how to navigate HubSpot CRM system to gain insights and record activity.
- Provide feedback on lead quality to help improve lead acquisition.
- Develop your sales skills and learn the optimal sales process.
Job Qualifications:
Experience
- Entry Level (0-2 years)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must, as is the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Previous experience in cold calling, sales, customer service, or other related fields preferred (but not required).
- Strong interest in pursuing a sales career with the ability to meet and exceed goals and expectations.
- Strong and proven online research skills.
- Self-motivated and creative thinker with the drive to learn, grow and succeed.
- Ability to consistently produce reliable results on time.
- Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual.
- A strong communicator and have a knack for being quick on your feet.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related, preferred.
