THE GIST:
Our client, family owned & San Francisco based Logistics Company, seeks a detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to support their team in San Francisco. This role will join their Sales & Marketing team and provide daily administrative, logistical, and marketing support. The ideal candidate has a knack for keeping track in many moving parts, stellar analytical & problem-solving skills, and contributing to the collective success of a team. Experience in logistics and supply chain management a plus!

THE NITTY GRITTY:
- Conduct market research on the industry, forecast trends, and track market conditions
- Monitor leads and equipment deliveries
- Manage contacts
- Assist with account management - providing quotes, proposals and overseeing customer accounts
- Work with the team to develop sales strategies
- Create online listings and marketing materials
- Create POs and track sales data
- Monitor incoming communications and customer leads
- Arrange shipments, negotiate freight rates, and work with outside vendors
- Handle clearances and shipping documentation
- Set up carrier service contracts
- Assist with other general administrative functions and ad hoc projects, as needed
THE ESSENTIALS:
- 1+ years of experience working in sales administration, logistics, transpiration leasing, and/or inventory management
- Experience working for a logistics or supply chain management company a plus!
- BA/BS preferred
- Proficiency in Excel & Word required
- Stellar attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks with competing priorities
- Poised & professional communication style
- Resourceful and proactive nature
- Ability to work collaboratively within all levels of an organization and with external parties

COMPENSATION:$60k-75k base salary + benefits + bonus + perks (exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and expertise)
