Grubbs Volvo in Grapevine has an outstanding opportunity for a customer-oriented, energetic, results-driven, and professional Sales Consultant (New & Pre-Owned Certified). This position is responsible for ensuring an extraordinary client experience while creating a long-lasting relationship. This position will assist clients from the beginning to the end of purchasing and owning New & Pre-Owned Vehicles. The Sales Consultant is extremely knowledgeable about our vehicles and services, the industry, and our market, including vehicle selection, performance, accessories, efficiencies, safety features, functions, and financing options for new and pre-owned vehicle inventories.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, previous sales experience in the automotive industry (Volvo experience preferred), excellent customer service skills, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, and excellent communication skills. He or she must be self-motivated with a willingness to continuously prospect to sell a minimum quota (or more!) on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new and current clients.
- Follow up with clients and respond to new inquiries in a timely fashion.
- Develops buyers by building a strong rapport with customers and working to achieve a long-lasting relationship.
- Qualifies buyers by understanding buyers' requirements and interests; Suggests and matches interests to various models.
- Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; explaining warranties and services.
- Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating prices; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; collecting payment; and delivering automobiles.
- Work in partnership with the F&I Team to resolve any outstanding contracts or incomplete deals.
- Ability to meet, maintain, and/or exceed sales goals monthly.
- Provide sales management analysis by completing reports.
- Have continuous knowledge of products and market trends.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) Preferred
