The Supplement Warehouse Sales Consultant is responsible for establishing and maintaining customer relationships which result in being the leading consultant and partner in life change for our customers. This position is also responsible for compliance with the manager’s direction for the operation ofthe store while ensuring the maximum sales and profitability through corporate accountabilities, merchandise, inventory expense control and shrinkage are met.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Consistently contributes to the growth and success of our company by being the leading consultant and partner in life change for our customers;
2. Ensures each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a friendly environment - includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service;
3. Use of technologically advanced tools in the store to maximize the customer experience including the InBody, Customer Connect, store i-pads and the dashboard;
4. Maintains an awareness of all product knowledge information, merchandise promotions, test merchandise and advertisements;
5. Adheres to all company policies, procedures and practices including signing, pricing and loss prevention;
6. Accurately and efficiently completes all sales transactions and maintains proper cash and marketing accountabilities at POS registers;
7. Communicates customer needs to management;
8. Captures and inputs customer information, reviews store trends and recommends and initiates changes for maximizing goals and objectives;
9. Responsible for all operational functions during shifts assigned by manager including but not limited to: Assisting with floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping and also assists with processing and replenishing merchandise, participates in receiving and monitoring floor stock and ensures rewraps are done promptly;
10. Checks, reads and maintains CN email account during each shift;
Occasionally may be required to travel locally or overnight by plane and/or automobile for business purposes, otherwise; on-site regular attendance in retail store is required.
Other Duties and Accountabilities:
1. Generates, updates and maintains customer lists;
2. Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures through staff meetings, store walk-through, audits and accountability reports;
3. Attends all staff meetings as scheduled and participates in other meetings and conference calls as required;
4. Participates in additional duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Experience and Other Qualifications:
§ 1 year comparable work experience preferred with exceptional sales experience;
§ Ability to process information and merchandise through computer system and POS register system;
§ Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposits;
§ Outstanding communication, organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills;
§ Must excel in a team environment;
§ Must have strong problem solving skills and the ability to resolve complaints and problems as they arise with customers;
§ Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills;
§ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel required;
§ Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation required;
§ Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area and register area;
§ Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store;
§ Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously;
§ Ability to work 30-40 hours per week (full-time) or up to 29 hours (part-time) which will include some nights and weekends.
