Work Performed:
The Sales & Catering Manager will be tasked with the following duties and responsibilities:
- Solicit new and past sales and catering groups through prospecting.
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
- Respond to all sales inquires, create detailed proposals, conduct site inspections and execute contracts.
- Negotiate group guest room rates, meeting room rental and food & beverage minimum.
- Complete, review, and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). Coordinate the client's needs and activities to ensure customer's expectations are met, and the property operates efficiently.
- Communicate group details and changes to all hotel departments.
- Monitor guest room block and blocked event space.
- Greet and touch base with groups when in-house.
- Aspire to achieve sales goals including rooms, banquet and ADR budget
