Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Catering Assistant to join our team. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the catering operations and ensuring the smooth execution of events. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with event planning, coordinating orders, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with event planning and coordination, including menu selection, venue setup, and logistics
- Coordinate catering orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Manage phone systems and handle customer inquiries and requests
- Maintain calendars and schedule appointments for catering events
- File and organize documents related to catering operations
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues that may arise
- Collaborate with the catering team to ensure seamless execution of events

Requirements:
- Previous experience in project coordination or event planning is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in order entry systems or similar software
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling customer inquiries
- Excellent calendar management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in filing and organizing documents
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service
