Sales Associate

I. Summary of the main function/purpose of the position:
The purpose of this position is to generate and maximize revenue for Envie Boutique. As a Lead Sales, you will assist customers in choosing merchandise that fits their specific wants and needs as well as assist Store Manager by supervising staff,
II. Key Principal duties/responsibilities:

• Initiate contact with customers via face-to-face (10-5 rule), phone, e-mail, or Facebook
• Drives sales by rapport with clients.
• Investigate what customer needs/desires by listening and outfitting
• Assist guests in choosing appropriate merchandise based on wants and needs
• Suggestive sell to add-on units and complete looks.
• Create guest profiles by entering guest information into Artisan.
• Assist in supervising Sales Associates.
• Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures.
• Protect employees and customers by ensuring a safe and clean store environment.

Occasional duties or projects which may be performed at irregular intervals:

• Processing Shipment
• Cleaning
• Merchandising
• Creating PO’s
• Assisting with Window Displays

Records: This position will require a specified Sales Per Hour (SPH).
Safety: Protect employees and customers by ensuring a safe and clean environment
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by exceeding the expectations of our guests
Dept. Specific: Ensure staff, as well as yourself, greet every customer (10/5 Rule), suggestive sell to build Units Per Transaction (UPT), ensure a quick and efficient check-out experience, and follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction by phone or Thank You card.
IV. Supervisory Responsibility:
Assist in training, advising, and assisting employees through the entire sales process.
Educational and /or equivalence in experience requirements
High School diploma preferred. Prior experience in retail sales is a plus.
Specialized or technical educational requirements:

• Knowledge of brands, designers, and current fashion trends.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information.
• Ability to organize and write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and the general public.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as percentages.
• Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions when furnished in written, oral, or scheduled form.

Computer, printer, calculator, and standard office equipment and machines as required.
