Sales Associate

*SALES ASSOCIATE – INTERSTATE ALL BATTERY CENTER* Interstate All Battery Center, Ridgeland, MS is looking for the perfect Sales Associate whose main focus is to provide excellent customer service and will create strong relationships with new and existing customers. Applicant must have an outgoing, knowledgeable and helpful personality. Sales Associates are responsible for selling products, billing and installing all types of batteries for customers, including watch/key batteries. *RESPONSIBILITIES*

- Commit to our Customer Service Vision and go the extra mile to take care of our customers at all times

- Provides fast, friendly service and actively engages customers, offering a friendly greeting and smile and making eye contact.

-Discusses available options with customers, asking questions to determine needs and showing interest in the customer.

-Learn and understand about all products in order to describe the features and benefits, answer questions, and suggest related items.

-Installs all types of batteries for customers, including, cell phone, watch and key fob, etc.

-Handle stressful environment at times and provides excellent service to all customers.

-Maintains a clean, safe, and inviting store environment at all times.

-Interacts and communicates professionally with commercial customers

-Maintains a neat and clean appearance at all times.

-Understands and follows all policies and procedures relating to cash handling, safety and security, and other store related matters.

-Must be punctual and have consistent attendance.
-Contributes positively to a team environment.
-May be required to pick up/deliver products in the local area
-Performs other duties as assigned.
*QUALIFICATIONS*

-High school diploma or GED required
-At least one year of sales experience preferred
-Knowledge of and experience installing batteries a plus!
-Must be willing and able to learn the skills necessary for the job
-Positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
