FULL TIME SALES ASSOCIATE - CARTOLINA MADISON AVE FLAGSHIP (NYC)
Cartolina is seeking a full time Sales Associate to join our client experience team, based at the flagship store located on Madison Ave on the Upper East Side of New York City. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual with a passion for the Cartolina brand who can offer an exceptional and personalized luxury retail experience in-store.
This position will be responsible for handling a variety of front-facing duties, including interacting with clients in- store, as well as over email and phone. The ideal candidate will use equal parts empathy and professionalism to interact with clients in a thoughtful, personal, and detail-oriented manner.
Responsibilities will range from supporting day-to-day store operations to meeting sales goals and client-telling.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide assistance in a friendly and professional manner
- Introducing clients to the Cartolina brand
- Make a dynamic first impression with clients – smile, welcome and connect authentically
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions
- Work with clients to create a memorable, personalized shopping experience
- Do what it takes to create seamless, pleasurable experiences customers are excited about
- Booking and hosting private fitting/ styling appointments
- Help clients style Cartolina and incorporate it into their wardrobe
- Operate and process sales transactions accurately
- Supporting daily store operations
- Ensuring the store is clean and organized
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Responding to emails and phone calls in a timely manner
- Offer an offline introduction to the Cartolina brand and products
Requirements
- An enthusiastic individual with a passion for person-to-person interactions
- Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive shopping experience
- Loves the Cartolina brand and has great fashion aesthetic
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred
- Team-oriented
- Has a friendly and energetic personality; cultivates meaningful relationships with clients
- Exhibits professionalism in all situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Attentive to details
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain a tidy sales floor
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
- Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Knowledge of electronics sales is an advantage
- Professional phone etiquette for answering customer inquiries
- Available to work weekends, holidays and special events
