Residential Flooring Sales Associate
DeSitter Flooring, the most trusted name in flooring for over 103 years, is an award winning, fast growing company serving the entire Chicagoland area. We are looking for (2) two talented Residential Sales Associates to serve our beautiful, updated showrooms in Glen Ellyn and LaGrange, IL. The compensation for this position includes commission and bonuses for annual potential earnings once established of $70K-95K+.
Your mission is to provide a five star experience to our longstanding clientele to reach your KPI's / sale goals. You will assist in selling all types of mid to high-end flooring materials and installation to include carpet, luxury vinyl, area rugs, hardwood, and more. You must possess effective communication skills and build trusting relationships that immediately make our customers feel welcomed. It's critical to quickly identify client needs and recommend solutions. It's also important to maintain a positive attitude through the process from start to finish. Ultimately, the goal is to ensure our customer's complete satisfaction is met and that your efforts helped contribute to our store’s success.
This position reports directly to the Store Manager and in conjunction with General Sales Manager and Operations. The general duties and skills required of this position include, but are not limited to:
Duties / Responsibilities:

- · Develop a full understanding and utilization of the "6-Step Sales Process."
- · Greet incoming guest’s entering our showroom, assisting them with selections, design and knowledgeable advice for all their flooring projects.
- · Occasionally visit with clients in their homes to measure, consult, or to handle a service issue / problem.
- · Provide detailed estimates (materials & labor) for all types of flooring.
- · Diligently follow-up on all leads & estimates to help close orders.
- · Track record to achieving sales goals.
- · Participate in ongoing product knowledge and sales training sessions to be a successful flooring specialist.
- · Assist in keeping samples and showroom looking clean and organized.
- · Participate in weekly sales meeting
Qualifications and Skills
- · Associate or bachelors degree preferred but not necessary.
- · Minimum 2 years of successful sales experience (performance base incentives).
- · Previous professional sales training experience helpful but not necessary.
- · Previous experience in flooring, home decorating / furnishings or home remodeling experience is helpful but not necessary.

We provide professional sales training, a competitive salary + commission / bonus to annual earning potential $70
