- Hourly Rate: $20-$25 + Commission (additional $12K-$25K/annually)

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide outstanding service to determine their flooring needs
- Build client relationships and ensure follow up is completed on all jobs (ongoing or completed) to gain new project leads
- Answer phone lines to help customers with their flooring needs and schedule showroom consultation appointments
- Keep up to date on the wide selection of flooring and countertop products available
- Review area measurements, calculate number of materials needed, and create estimates for projects
- Will be point of contact for customer to provide flooring sample suggestions and perform quality control throughout project
- Handle customer complaints regarding product or directing them to proper departments based on complaint
- Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays and common areas neat, current, and clean
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ proven work experience in Retail, Sales, Customer Service, Construction, or similar role
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Strong personal and professional judgment
- Ability to adapt and respond quickly to customers’ needs and wants
- Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
- Ability to achieve sales goals effectively
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Advanced time management skills
- A positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations
- Proper phone etiquette a must
- Basic computer and math skills a must
- Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates
- Knowledge of floor coverings & countertops a plus (Willing to train)
- Knowledge of RFMS a plus (Willing to train)
Education:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, business management, interior design, or a similar field a plus
