Sales Associate

We’re looking for energetic mead fanatics who would like to help us run the tasting room bar on the weekends. You’d be first in line to make sure that every customer that comes through our doors gets a great experience as they dive into the wild and wonderful world of mead.

We are also looking for some variable part-time help outside of the tasting room during the week. This person would primarily be working in the production area to assist with bottling and packaging. There will occasionally be other jobs around the meadery that need to be done as well.

The Job - Mead Ambassador

SEASONAL HOURS

Thurs. 2-7pm, Fri. 12-8pm, Sat. 12-8pm, Sun. 12-6pm

This is a part-time position with shift availability during our open hours with the option to work special events after hours, as needed.

The expectation is that Mead Ambassadors are available for most Saturdays and/or Sundays. Shifts can be covered by other staff in the event that you need to request off.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Some experience in either retail, sales, or the restaurant and hospitality industry is preferred
• Customer service skills and effective communication to support customer engagement and brand promotion
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently
• Ability to work long hours on feet and occasionally lift up to 40lbs
• Experience handling cash transactions
• Ability to taste alcoholic beverages in order to accurately describe the products (must be 21+)
